Enbridge Home Efficiency Rebate

Rebates for Windows, Insulation, heat pumps & more

We’re still supporting energy efficiency, with rebates to help you save.

Rebates and upgrades*

Before renovating or installing any upgrades, you must complete an initial home energy assessment.

How the program works

  1. Schedule an initial home energy assessment
Before installing any upgrades, contact an Enbridge Gas approved service organization to book an initial home energy assessment. They will send a registered energy advisor to assess your home and uncover energy-saving opportunities.
  2. Get a list of upgrades recommended for your home
The registered energy advisor will provide a custom report with recommended upgrades to help you save energy.
  3. Complete at least two qualifying upgrades
Choose your own contractor to install your upgrades. A minimum of two qualifying upgrades is required.
  4. Need financing? Check out the Canada Greener Homes Loan before installing any upgrades.

  5. Complete a follow-up energy assessment
Once your qualifying upgrades are installed, book a follow-up visit. It takes about one hour, and must take place within 120 days of your initial assessment, or by Dec. 31, 2025—whichever comes first.†
  6. Rebates will be awarded as of January 2025
Cheques will be awarded starting January 2025. We’ll also reimburse you $600 to offset the cost of both the initial and follow-up energy assessments.
